Grading workflow

As a Deneye grader, you review fundus photographs that have been pre-graded by AI. You confirm, adjust, or override the AI assessment using our Grading Module - a comprehensive dual-panel viewer with annotation tools and structured grading forms.

Requirements

  • Board-certified ophthalmologist.
  • Experience in retinal pathology.

Grading certificate program

  1. Introduction training (online, approximately 2 hours).
  2. Calibration test: grade 50 reference images. You must achieve a kappa ≥ 0.80 against the gold standard.
  3. Certificate issued upon passing.
  4. Ongoing quality monitoring: inter-grader agreement is tracked continuously.
